Cookie Policy

Cookies are small files stored on your device. Here we explain which ones we use and how to control their use.

Last updated: May 28, 2026

1. Our principle

No analytics cookie, or any other non-essential cookie, is activated before you allow it. When you enter the website, we show a notice with the options Accept, Reject and Customise, given equal prominence. Until you decide, only strictly necessary cookies operate.

2. Types of cookies we use

  • Strictly necessary. They keep the website working and store your decision about cookies (recorded locally in your browser). They do not depend on consent and cannot be switched off.
  • Language preference (NEXT_LOCALE cookie). When you choose the website language, we store that choice in the NEXT_LOCALE cookie, valid for one year, so the site opens in the right language on your next visits. It is strictly functional, collects no browsing data and does not depend on consent.
  • Analytics and statistics (PostHog), with consent. These are only activated if you allow them. They let us understand, in aggregate, how the website is used (pages viewed, navigation) so we can improve it. The data is hosted on the service's European infrastructure.

3. Managing or withdrawing consent

You can change your decision at any time, as easily as you gave it. If you reject or withdraw consent, we stop collecting analytics data and the corresponding cookies are deleted from your device.

to reopen your preferences. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

4. How long your consent lasts

Your decision is remembered for around 180 days. After that period, we ask for your consent again.

5. Legal framework

The use of cookies is subject to Article 5 of Law no. 41/2004 and to the GDPR. Under the guidance of the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (the Portuguese data protection authority), analytics cookies require prior consent, which is why we only activate them after you allow them. Learn more about how we process your data in the Privacy Policy.
